To graduate with a specialization in Physics, students must complete the following required courses plus the general breadth requirements for the Associate Degree (minimum total = 60 units).

Program Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate general knowledge of physical concepts and principles appropriate for lower division courses in physics.

  2. Apply critical thinking skills and physical methods in solving problems appropriate for lower division physics courses.

  3. Demonstrate standard laboratory skills and techniques appropriate for lower division courses in physics, as well as communicate concepts and results through well-organized lab reports.
