Program Description

The Associate of Arts Degree in Audio Production is an immersive program that introduces students to the core functions of audio production. Students develop proficiency with industry-standard hardware and software while building both technical expertise and a distinct creative voice through focused work in sound design and audio production techniques.

Program Learning Outcomes

  1. Create a portfolio of work to demonstrate audio production skills.

  2. Create an audio performance for a variety of situations ranging from broadcast to voice over production of film, television, and audio.

  3. Write short news or informational scripts for broadcast.

  4. Produce, engineer, and edit and short radio program.
